1. Canal Walk (Century Boulevard)
If you're a mall freak and you like to window shop from one store to another, you'll like Canal Walk mall a lot. It has over 400 stores, dining options, and entertainment areas within its arena. It’s open from 09:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Sunday, including Public Holidays.

2. V&A Waterfront (Table Mountain)
Bringing nature and consumers together is the V&A waterfront in Cape Town. Besides being known for its scenery, entertainment, and restaurants, it also provides an exquisite shopping experience. It is located at Table Mountain and is open from 9am to 7pm from Mon-Sat and from 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

3. Cavendish Square (Claremont)

4. Bayside Mall ( Blaauwberg Road)

From electronics to banks, books to clothing, and eye wear to footwear, Bayside mall is the place you're looking for if you want a complete make-over.

5. Somerset Mall (Centenary Drive)
It’s not every day when a woman gets to unwind herself in an exotic heaven of amazing shops surrounding her. Somerset Mall is one of those paradises which will entice your shopping appetite. It is also one of the oldest malls for outdoor clothing and apparel for explorers and adventurers.

6. Gardens Shopping Center (Mill Street)
It describes itself as one of the elite malls of the city. One visit to this mall and you will become its loyal customer for sure. Yahoo travel gives it a rating of 3/5, though people have had both good and bad experiences at this mall, it is definitely worth a visit.

7. Constantia Village (Constantia Road)
The most amazing attraction about this Mall is its location. It is situated in one of the oldest vineyards of Cape Town. It has been on its ground since 21 years. It specializes in home, clothing, shoe, jewelry, accessory, art, music, computer, food, flower shops and so much more.

8. Blue Route Mall (Tokai)
The Blue Route Mall opened its doors to its consumers in 1970. Covering an area of about 56000 square meters, the Blue Route Mall will make your feet sore from walking but will still offer you a shopping experience you won’t forget!
Other fine shopping centers to shop from are The Tyger Valley Centre, Willowbridge, Kenilworth center etc.

Five Places to Visit in Cape Town

Cape Town is the second largest city on South Africa, located in the southwest corner of the country and is near the Cape of Good Hope and it is also known as The Mother City in South Africa. There are a lot of things to do and places to see in the city that you will enjoy and fall in love with its natural sceneries, beautiful buildings, and a lot of exotic things right around the corner. Let’s get started with the list shall we?

1. Castle of Good Hope –The castle is located at the bottom of Buitenkant Street and it is one of the oldest surviving colonial buildings in South Africa and it is also home to the Military Museum. A good place to visit if you want to enjoy art and old furniture collections from the Dutch colonial settlement and British occupation from around the seventeenth and nineteenth century.

2. Table Mountain – A very beautiful scene to see, the Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain that has magnificent and breath-taking views of the City of Cape Town, Lions Head and Devils Peak. If you’re planning to take a hike on the mountain you might want to hire a guide if you’re inexperienced at climbing mountains or you can take the easy way and take a cable car up and once up you’ll see that it is worth the climb.

3. Bo-Kaap – Formerly known as Malay Quarters the Bo-Kaap is an area in Cape Town located in southwest of downtown. The neighborhood is historically inhabited by mainly Muslim descendants from Southeast Asia.

4. Robben Island – An island located just off the coast of Cape Town, Robben Island was used for the isolation of mainly political prisoners since the end of the 17th century. You can take a tour on the island that consists of a bus taking you around the island where you can see African penguins and learn more about the history of the island.

5. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – A must visit if you are a nature and plant lover, located in Rhodes Drive and open daily from 8am to 6pm. The garden has various plants and flowers from all the regions of South Africa.The plants and flowers vary from season to season new plants, different kinds of birds and a lot more, if you visit the gardens you can have a picnic there and enjoy the scenery of the gardens.
